I'm not much into the zombie games, but do love a good survival game... noticed Dying Light was on pre-order for XB1... but looking at game info might seem a little too fast paced. Anyone got any thoughts or interest in this game... is their another, better survival type game coming?

Watching videos it looks a lot like Dead Island to me, so if you liked that I can't imagine why you wouldn't enjoy this one.

I didn't unfortunately.... what about that new beta 1NZ1 or something crazy like that.

steer clear of N1Z1 for now. 3 days ago they were saying there was NO way to buy ammo or weapons with real money. Then it launched today and you can buy ammo and weapons.

That was only 3 days ago... Quite a significant change of direction. I would wait to buy it until they figure out wtf they are doing.

DL is definitely not a survival game i'am afraid. It's a bit of an open world mix of Dead Island (same developer) and Mirror's Edge (lot's of parkour). So it's mainly an action game with some crafting and setting traps.
