Glorious pictures! How did you create a panoramic type picture size?

I wish I could say that as a technological genius I worked some kind of magic post production... However all I did was press the screen shot button. My res is with three monitors in eyefinity that runs at 5040x1050, so that's the ratio you see once shrunk down to a more manageable size. (The default images were about 4 meg or so.)
I always think that screen shots look more stretched then they actually appear on screen, but they can look quite nice when you get a good composition and you get a fair wind and following seas.
