Instant Action full realism.

Guess AI was set as "Moron".
Still I loved it...

EDIT: I actually only have the .trk file. HOw to upload it here? I don't have the means to record an Youtube video!

What game is it? If you have a newer NVidia card Nvidia Experience can capture video. Free fraps I suppose is still an option.

It was in DCS. I was kind of sure I could have just added the .trk file but having indeed an Nvidia Gfx Card I'll try Xperience.

The .trk file is just a recording of the numeric data representing what happened - the sim's graphics engine converts that to imagery, so it's not a video in and of itself. You'd have to get the sim to play it back, and then record that video in some way, then upload it to YouTube or something similar for it to be seen here.

Yeah, I knew that- I just wanted to attach that so anyone could see what I did. I have no time or bandwidth to upload an Youtube video :P

Lazy, I know.

Yes I would use a convertor to convert tracks and then upload to you tube. I don't know if there are better ways of doing it

Uhm, sounds easy enough. What is a convertor?

Any converter will do, though I imagine there are ones that are better than others. Let me have a look I know Raw Kryptonite recommended one that was really good

I only did a few videos so my memory is a bit vague, but you to convert to a format that is compatible with you tube

Hey komemiute, no excuses!11! ;=)

give OBS a shot:
https://obsproject.com/

it works best with a "windowed" setting and having a smaller resolution window allows for making some video-sketches even with sketchy hardware (and mine is wors then yours ;=) )

Also you can re-code stuff to other codexes.. that sometimes makes editing more comfy:
http://www.xmedia-recode.de/

looking forward to your vids, man!

LOL! Thank you DrZebra. I'm not good at flying or editing, but why not, right?
I'll try to make you proud! salute

I made a few Lock On movies years ago. Don't remember how I made them. I'd trust what the good Dr. says though. I think I used a converter as well. Try NVidia xperience out though. I recently tried it with Hell's Highway and was really surprised by the video's quality and fps.

I made a few movies from FC2 (which I think is basically the same process compared to DCS), and all I did was replay the trk file in FC2, and then control the views as I used Fraps to record the video. I recorded different chunks, then used Windows Movie Maker to put it into a movie. I even added a soundtrack to one of them. My camera movements and edits were pretty crude, but it was fun to make.

Haven't done that in a while, though.

Yes it is a bit of a process Kome, but once figured out it's easy enough
