The pics look like Disneyland because Disney adopted the early 19th Century architectural style that was popular in Europe. I downloaded about a dozen French chateau pics. They nearly all have towers and roofs like this.

Not sure what you mean by 'frames and built-in textures'. GMAX wants to make every object you create a different color. But, if you right-click a selection, you can get a Menu Box. Click on 'Properties' and it will take you there. There's a place that shows the color of the object. Right click on that and you'll get a (256?) color palette. Pick whatever you want.

I'll get to work on texturing.
