I have had NA for just about two weeks and I have to say that I have been blown away with how fun, immersive and beautiful this game is. I decided to throw together a little fan made trailer to show off the beauty of this game!

It sure is an amazing naval sim engine. I hope we'll get a camera mode where we can walk around the deck (in the Sea Dogs/POTC way) at some point.

I agree. I think it would be nice to have the ability to do more around the ship in the future.

Wow beautiful. Is there any single player to this at all?

Thank you Coot. The game is intended to be an MMO so I don't think there will be any sort of single player campaign aspect to the game.

I don't believe that this is correct. From what I had read in the NA forum, there had been intended at least to create a big open world, ala Elite Dangerous, eventually. The engine and arena play is the first stepping stone to that.

Of course, it may take years or never happen at all depending on how hard it is to do. But the devs have big dreams at least! biggrin

It won't be a true MMO for quite some time, but I haven't seen anything in the forums about about a single player campaign though.

If nothing else, I would very much like to have a skirmish mode. I fairly long for the day when I can command HMS Surprise against the French 74-gun ship of the line off Mauritius, or take her in pursuit of the Norfolk into the Pacific!

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Superb! Thanks for sharing! Hope this will have a decent Single Player component.
