Pease KPSM has seen a nice lift in transients since we've gone after ISIS. Because Pease is in NH and a good stop before heading overseas we see a lot of fighters heading over and on their way back.

What's funny is that some of the people I follow on IG shoot the same AC at Lakenheath the day before or after like this guy.

Caught these Growlers from Whidbey Island heading over and a few weeks later caught them heading back to WA state

inbound flights

midflight snacks, hope someone brought some milk because that sun is going to keep these warm

RW change for the 2nd group inbound

Love catching a gaggle of Hornets departing

A group of 11 Harriers from Yuma

There were 2 of these working out of here for a week, cool to see them.

Dirby 81 working the pattern

I got a text that this group had just left England while I was 3 hours up North in the Mountains. Drove home and caught 12 hornets come in with 2 groups.

Each 6 ship had it's own KC-10

Had 6 birds on the 2nd group come in but was only able to line up 2 of them with the moon

Prowlers heading home

hate when the wind direction doesn't work in your favor for departures.

Support for the Hornets is always needed

Really great shots, Dave, all of them! The one that really grabs my attention, though, is that moon shot.

thanks a lot, we could see the moon starting to come up over the horizon and was wondering if the 2nd group was going to make it in time.

Pease has been pretty active with flights heading over seas and back and with Red Flag visitors as well at time.

These boys were heading to the Sandbox

Had 12 Spangdahlem Vipers come through on their way to RF

Never seen these before, had 2 of them come in from McGuire

This was a flight of 3 the same time after the Cobra's landed

Just shot these on Wed, 2 Iraqi F-16s heading home.

not the best quality, was at ISO1000 and only at 1/200th shutter speed but I love the full cone!

Very nice! Looks like you're able to get pretty close to the runway.

That's a lot of F-16s! I'm jealous, as I rarely see F-16s in my area, since it's a Navy/Marine town.

That Cobra is great, and I like that it's a Whisky. In the San Diego area, they've almost entirely converted to Zulus, and there's something about the overall shape of the Whisky that I think I prefer.

thanks, we're probably 50 ft from the taxi way, the runway is a tad bit further away. Being a tanker base and old SAC base they needed more room to line them up for alert take offs.

We had the MD A-10's up here for a week doing training up North, totally forgot to even post them on my FB. Rumor has it some Eurofighters are supposed to come in next week as well.

Bangor ME gets most of the transient fighters from overseas when they come and go. 3 hours 1 way is tough to justify when you're not sure if they're coming for sure but my GF and youngest son went up last Fall and caught some Israel & Jordian 16's and I went back for some Tornado's later that week.

Great shots and lovely aircraft - thanks for sharing thumbsup

Three German Tonkas - that must be about half their servicable fleet ... hahaha

Really miss seeing Harriers in the UK skies - the Government scrapped all of ours as a result of defence cuts! sigh

Last time I saw one was at Biggin Hill in 2010:
