Finally got a chance to load up WoFF 2.0 tonight. I started flying the DVIIF just to see how things looked...and they look INCREDIBLE! Really! I have sweetFX loaded, but even without this, the ground texture is amazing!
Trying to get my controls right, I started strafing cars, planes etc, and noticed a up and down motion anytime I angled toward the ground to strafe (a porpoising motion, up and down, over and over, fast). I turned off the wind, but still had the same problem.
Anyone else experiencing this? I tried with the Camel and the SE5a, which had less of this motion, but still was mostly impossible to draw a bead on a stationary target.
Didnt have this problem with WoFF 1.0, so am wondering if there's a particular workshop setting that I need to adjust....?

Nope not an issue here with any of the dev and beta testers, and I think all the vids quite clearly show that there is no such issue....you do need to fly the craft and you cannot simply allow the stick to 'spring dead center' - some require forward pressure others backwards pressure on stick, as in real life, to fly level.
Also you will need to counteract wind bumps etc
Also note the wind bumps and buffets vary depending on weather from calm to bumpy so see how you go over a few days/missions with differing weather. If you still cant handle it turn it off in workshops.

Thanks for the input. I tried turning off the wind, but still have the issue. I'll go back thru the various settings and make sure nothing is bound to the pedals, etc. Thanks,
BuB

WOFF EXPANSION NEW FEATURES
...
2) Improvements and Additions:
...
Increased wind buffeting effects. Could this be? That's exactly what it is. I also quickly noticed it in WOFFv2 compared to v1. Usually gets pretty jumpy around the craft's max level speed or higher. So diving will increase it once your speed picks up a bit. Thanks for the input. I tried turning off the wind, but still have the issue. The "Wind Buffeting" isn't really related to the environmental wind speed, but the air flowing over the airframe. I'm pretty sure, anyway. It was added to make the flight feel less like it was "on rails" and give a bit more challenge with aiming.
