Umm, I wouldn´t say that,...yet. I guess I need betatesting,...run a Quick Combat and check Flak burst (too black maybe?)and the trailing smoke after setting your foe in fire,....Select an Aviatik or a Be2 and against a fokker DVII or SE 5 Viper and have fun... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38783558/Beta%20Effects%20WOFF%200.9.zip

Wolfstriked, where can I test the stock explosions? I mean, I need to check hte textures ingame (LOTS of times) once I modify them, are you referring to the explosions in No Mans Land? Link to my Sweet Fx settings file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38783558/SweetFX_settings.txt

I think artillery explosions look fine as they are but of course if you can work magic into anything it can only get better.I am talking about the bright balls of I presume metal on fire.I just searched everywhere and now I cant find a pic but its of planes exploding and the stuff that shoots out of them. And thanks for the SweetFX settings.

They have a much angrier look than the original soft white ones. I like it. As we neared the vicinity of our unsuspicious prey I noticed a German Archy shell break, not near me but in close proximity to their own machine. The Hun shells emit a black smoke upon bursting, which distinguishes them from the Allies' shells, which show a white smoke. Instantly the two-seater Albatros turned and dived for Germany.
A moment later three more German shells burst ahead of the retreating two-seater. And these three bursts were at about our present altitude. It seemed to be a previously arranged method of conversation which the gunners below were carrying on with the aeroplane high above them. They were telling the Albatros that our three fast fighting machines were approaching from the east, and they indicated by the smoke-bursts the precise altitude at which we were flying.
