Where are you shopping from and can you shop from Newegg? I ask because a quick check and a quick convert to the US dollar and you are paying more than you can get from Newegg.

Not including assembly and testing I can buy that system for $1293.00 Canadian. Newegg rules and if u can use them.

EDIT just checked and there is a Canadian Newegg and it seems even cheaper than American newegg.

Since you were about to spend some extra cash then research research and do more research.I take a good week and research every component and then research some more LOL.My quick advice is to go for a 1000watt power supply as you just might need it if you one day run 2 video cards.I say this because of your thread about the 21:9 monitor and 34in is a calling(me too).If you go this route you will probably gonna need another GPU so.Goodness this hobby is expensive. eek2

Manitouguy, these are all good choices and something I would build if I had the cash. Except for the power supply as Wolfstriked mentioned and video card. With that setup, you're building close to a high end system, so don't skimp on the video card or power supply.

If you wait around for a month or so, the 980 GTX Ti is coming out or get the 980 GTX (overclocked edition) instead of the 970.

I got a somewhat similar set of components built into a new computer this spring by NCIX and it runs WOFF very well (60 FPS all the time). NCIX is about as cheap as anybody in Canada and I have had good service from them.

I put quite a bit of effort into getting 'silent' rig (no howling fans etc.), so if that's of importance feel free to PM me for a list of parts I used.
