I have been able to modify Per's 1024x768 screen set-up of FAW, which uses the FAWmanager (FAWMan.exe) program so that it runs in EAW140. Anumber of files that are not compatible with 140 have been removed, and I have added a "Planes_FAW" folder with the skins and flightmodels to the root folder. In the "FAWScenario" folder there are now three planesets to match Per's originals (1939, 1941 and 1944).
Using a combination of the DirSetExeManager to set the exe and the planeset, and then the FAWManger which creates the real "dir.set" and "cdf.set" files I can create the set-up using nearly all of the features of FAW.
As 140 uses slot free skins the previous skin management features cannot be used, but I hope to produce more planesets (11, 12 and 13) so that 1 has the summer skins, and 11 has the winter skins (if available) and so on.
As FAW uses dedicated CDFs I am not using the CDF free versions of EAW140. So this morning I have updated the CDF versions to include recent changes to the CDF free versions (no m.3dz or cpt files).
