I used the "j" key, and as I coincidentally saw these 3 Fighters, I pressed "Pause", moved the Camera to a nice Location, pressed "Record" & unpaused, watched them zip by, paused again and so forth. I'm still learning how to handle this Microsoft Live Movie Maker, though...
An interesting Detail on my Gunner in the Strutter: Personally I think that he is one of the best I've had, yet (you have seen, what this Guy did to the DFWs in a few Seconds), but the Files list him as average... if this is average, show me the good ones

And a big Applause for the WOFF-AI. The Video only looks cool, because the AI does such spectacular Things with this Kites. I especially like this Downward Torque, the 2 Albs are performing - you expect them shooting green Laser-Beams any Second

BWOC Survivor!...So Far!!
The continuing career of Ernst Ziegler, Jasta-5, Boistrancourt:
17 Mar 1917 @ 09h12 Close air support for 5 DFW C.V. from FA 48B (Erchin)
Our destination was Roupy aerodrome. The DFW’s were to bomb the aerodrome.
I lead the flight with Schneider, Theiller, Gontermann, Nathanael, and Bussing accompanying. “A” flight sent Berr, Sturm, Hertz, Huber, Mehlig and Joos as top cover.
The trip to Roupy was quiet but as we approached it we encountered 5 SPADS VII’s and 5 Sopwith Strutters. We engaged the enemy and it was a disaster. I took a lot of hits from those accurate gunners on the strutters and my craft required 2 days repair but I was not hit. Schneider, Theiller, Gontermann and Nathanael were all lightly wounded in the fray and forced down with their craft destroyed. Bussing sustained Heavy damage requiring 3 days repair. “A” flight reported Hertz, Huber, Mehlig and Joos missing, however all but Hertz and Joos returned to base shaken up and with their craft badly damaged. We can only hope Hertz and Joos will make it back. It was a disasterous day for Jasta 5.

This is a shortened version of the original video which is over 25 minutes ~3.5 Gigabytes. I added music from Matt Milne's excellent DVD to set the mood in some parts.
I can't spin stories like some of the talented folks here, but I would like to set the stage for this video. My first pilot died on his THIRD night training mission, so this guy is new.
Al had heard the news of his cousin's death after only his fifth day of training. Cpt. Triggers said it happened during one of the night trianing flights and he had stalled and crashed just yards before the landing field.
Yesterday, Al flew his first solo mission at 0900 hours, but it did not end well after an engine failure and a deadstick landing.
Tonight is Al's first solo night training mission. Cpt. Triggers took him up a couple of days ago at night in the observer's seat to get him ready for this solo flight.
Here is a short Video of our two Strutters, blowing up a whole Flight of 5 DFWs After that, some nice Scenes of an AI-Race...
Nietzsche, I tried to do that very same thing in a strutter not too long ago, but my observer barely noticed them =. That was awesome, man! Great fight scenes too... I think that is pretty good evidence that the AI can survive dives that would rip a player scout's wings completely off...
Robert, great stuff as always! I really liked how you took advantage of the few seconds of time you had to gauge the fight developing off your right wing before you fully committed! Looked like a fun scrum! Those Brisfits were a bear, glad you made it out ok!
The older I get, the more I realize I don't need to be Han, Luke or Leia. I'm just happy to be rebel scum...

Rick Rawlings, moved up to the deathtrap, er, N16 series of planes... Here, I was trying to distract them while I destroyed their observation balloon north of Lens... let's see if it works!

@Rick: Yeah, that Guy is the Hitman ...too sad, he is with my SOP5-Sightseeing-Career, so he spends most of his Time drinking Coffee and playing Sudoku instead of shooting down Planes while we are in the Air.
That pesky Eindecker in your latest Video really showed some Air-Kung-Fu... most of them are not that dangerous. I bet it was one of those heavy armoured Pilots ;-) Where did he go anyway? Did one of your Team get him later?

Hey, Nietzsche, you can see the Eindecker going down in the background while I am looking at the balloon smoke trail, one of my wingmen got him...if I'd been in an N11 or, even better, a 17, I'd have been all over him inside of two turns, unfortunately, the Nieuport 16 has a hard time keeping it together in just a gentle turn. Oh well, at least I survived!

Rick, you were so close to that gas bag when you loosed your rockets that I thought for sure your Nieup would take some damage. It has happened to me and caused my engine to fail. I also noticed one of more of your mates make passes at that pesky Eindecker but that didn't seem to stay with him and so he came back at you over and over again.
Nice video mate. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially the nice weather which I am not getting much of in the DiD.

I've watched most of these videos and I'm wondering Why isn't anyone crashing their planes or getting shot down by the enemy.... Am I the only one with bad luck?
