The second is "On Came The Snow" from SUBAUDIBLE HUM.

Short after takeoff, I spotted 5 Sopwith Triplane high in the clear azure blue.
Then one of them had an itchy temper and came down to play - a lethal game.
He shot one Albatros down, but for the price of his own life.

Well, he had prepared his attack well; from where I first saw him, he flew into the sun
and then came out of it. Had I not seen him earlier - I would have been caught by surprise.
But yes: Jasta 5 definitely IS a wild bunch or predators - which he didn't seem to know...
I wished there was a "Hold back, do NOT engage before I say it!"-command...

These guys couldn´t afford to make mistakes, even acting correctly they could easily die,...So hard to be in your 20s and behave cold minded and mature. These guys were emotionally unstable after very few patrols so these kind of attitudes were common, and of course, they died, often. No Ctrl+Z for them. Living on the edge.

I find that when a squad mate comes close to crashing into you its most likely your fault.The only near misses I have is when I do a sudden maneuver without the thought of the planes flying next to me.

Yeah, they were young and green, Aris. Who knows how we would have performed?

Wolfstriked, I had actually tried to fly with some concern about the others.
But you can never really fly a combat, and control the whole sperical space around you
at the same time. At least I can't, I admit.

Good stuff, Olham! Sometimes I think that is why some of the aces preferred solo patrols... no one to collide with or worry about when going in for the kill!

Short video of Rufus Taylor's last mission to date. I hope this is a little better quality. He is a lucky chap so far. I claimed the 1st one and the second but was told eye witnesses refute my claim. After looking at the video again I beleive the first one ws finished off by someone else!

Great job MFair, very good shooting! I have to admit I held my breath when I thought you were going to run into that Albatros! I think I have only outlasted 80 missions once so far, so you are doing awesome in my book! Stay frosty!

Rick and Olham,thank you very much. Rufus is my first pilot to go over 80 missions, thanks to what I have learned in the DID Campaign. I must admit since we had had no enemy sightings on the last 4 missions my blood was up a bit. Need to learn how to control that if Rufus wants to last 80 more.

Thanks for the new music Olham, my taste runs from Mongolian folk music to heavy metal. Oceansize is great, looked them up on Spotify.

I'm trying to get Rother Nought back up to speed (started him over after I got new hardware and 2.0 came out), so he is flying RNAS #1 in July 1916 with the N11, on account of his tender rank So, we are on a balloon busting mission with about 6 of us and as we are approaching the sausage, I see a dot above us heading on an oblique intercept course. I angle towards him and zoom in to spot a lone Eindecker. I figure rather than jump in the collision soup simmering with our boys around the balloon, I can keep this guy busy, so I start tailing him. He goes past us and heads towards our side of the lines, so I figure I'll catch him before he gets back. As I am gaining, another dot resolves above him: his wingman. Still, I am young and full of beans, so I figure "What the heck?" and keep following them. Before I can close the distance, they head into a cloud formation where I lose them for a few minutes. Pressing on, I stumble into one heading back East. Not seeing anyone else, I follow him into a cloud, waiting for the right moment to fire...surprise!

I'm still not sure where the third guy came from! It was a tough but fun fight. As you can see from the screenshot, that first burst hit me in the left shoulder and will keep me out of the cockpit for a week!

Thanks, man! As you can tell from the video, the N11 will easily outperform one Eindecker, but those guys were doing a fantastic job of extending away from me and as I would turn to attack one of the others, they would come back in behind me. I got credit for the first guy I shot in the cloud (felt like I was fighting in the Mutara Nebula there for a moment), he crashed towards the end of the fight and for the last one that went down at the very end. They were both aces, not sure about the third... Great piloting and fantastic AI coding!

@Olham,I have so many squad mates just flying by inches from my plane so I know how you feel.One rookie wingman I was given did it 3 times and I posted on here that he would eventually kill off my character and then it happened.

WOFF continues to improve with the V2.05 patch. Enemy AI does an excellent job of trying to not stay in your sights on most occasions. Here's a quick combat video showing off just how beautiful WOFF V2.05 is in terms of both scenery and immersion.
