Can GTA online be played between console types?

no Coot.... and I would play but open games just have other people running around killing me. lol

Might be picking this up soon, maybe today. I wasnt going to but the first person view is pulling me in. That an its GTA. I read that the online isnt stable with more than a few people?

You can host or join "invite only" sessions, to help alleviate that.



Re first person: believe the hype. The game is gorgeous on xbo, and shooting can be very tactical with that mode.


Online has been stable for me the few times I played, and a few post launch patches have come out, so rockstar is actively working to optimize it.

Well I bought it but havent had time to play it yet. Thinking of sitting down tonight maybe and going at the story in first person. Cant wait!

I'm close to pulling the trigger on this one too. The first person view might be enough to pull me back in.

I had it for the 360 but wasn't too crazy about it.

Maybe I'll grab it this weekend (for Xbox One).

Damn I picked this up 2 weeks ago on PS4 instead of XB1 thinking most SimHQ folks hate GTA5 and so wouldn't be anyone to play with so might as well go for the gfx on the PS4, might have to trade it for XB1 version if a bunch of you guys start playing it regularly.

Destiny coming in the mail tomorrow on XB1, looking forward to it, seems like a FPS loot game which is right up my alley.
