It's on my "buy when on sale" list and is currently on sale from $30 down to $15 at fspilotshop.com However, I've seen a couple comments that amount to "worth the $5 I got it on sale for."
Is the Razbam A-6 a good buy at $15 or should I wait for a better sale. I'm not in a huge hurry to have it. It's just one I'd like to add at some point.

Personally, just my opinion, but it's a bit dated. It currently is equivalent to some of the older Alphasim stuff, in other words not much cockpit functionality and interior sorta shows it's age graphically. However, scuttlebutt has it, they are re-working all of their models, sans what's came out last few years such as Buckeye, Corsair II and Harrier II, and this one is top of the list. I would wait unless it's a must have now. The fact that Tac Pack is becoming a norm for updates make this one even more exciting as an upgrade or re-purchase in my case.
I am by no means implying it's a bad buy, just don't have expectations of VRS/PMDG/Aerosoft functionality. Anywho...just my opinion. Other's may vary.

Yeah I also picked it up in one of those $5 sales, for that amount it was a good value especially if you have a soft spot for the A6, but it is dated, sort of the early FSX payware level and what you would see in good freeware these days.
I haven't had it installed for a long while.

OK. Thanks guys. I do have quite a soft spot for the A-6, but I'll wait for a $5 deal or something like that. Another thing I noticed last night when cruising along low and at 500kts (something I don't normally do given the slower nature of most aircraft I have installed, but is what I'd want to do in the A-6), is that my ground textures become blurry after only a minute or so of flight. Since I don't think there's much I can do about that at this point, it's another reason not to drop any money on a low level attack jet for FSX. In the meantime, I can get a good A-6 fix in SF2...

Wow. That little bit about DCS has me excited, even though it's vague and far off (if it even happens).
