It's here. in little less than an hour the gamma release (which fixes basically all major issues- included HOTAS and rudder detection problems) Will hit our machines. There's a storm inside me. I'm trying to stay calm but there's waves after waves of adrenaline... The whole galaxy is open for exploration, all the kickstarter ships and starting points are there, up to six folks can have a vocal channel together, wings (friends fleet) are in place now, and the list goes on. I love the world.:D

Yeah,
looked good, did a few jumps and found out my free Eagle was 144 ly away (not that I care anyway).
Had to take a break as I needed to buy some food for the weekend, now servers seem to be down.

Hmmm....may take a trip to Sol soon then!
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.” -Robert Heinlein

Played a few hours this evening, after the initial hickups with the servers I had no discos or crashes. Game runs very well.
And it`s really getting dangerous. Was interdicted a few times, one jumped away before I could finish him off, one time I escaped with 6(!)% percent hull left. Killed one Sidey.
I`m seriously re-thinking my upgrade course to the Cobra after this experience, what chance does one stand in a Hauler? Upgraded my Sidey to 6T cargo (threw the Discovery Scanner out), with gimballed lasers and better armor, so at least I can survive lesser opponents. But in a Hauler?

You could used a trusted fellow in a combat ship as an escort.

Uhm not sure. Actually it's quite safe to assume one last wipe to prevent some head-start.
I reached earth, btw!

Hullo it's Scott Manley here, making you spend money.

Yeah he is successful,
He has a decent hangar of ships in star citizen as well. He says a portion of his advertising revenue gets shoved back into the games. Great for backing a dev and great for him as I am sure he spends nowhere near the full price.
