Sometimes it takes an Englishman to pull up the Scottish blood from within an American. I've always loved bagpipes. When played right man there's just something about them. Almost like God put an unnamable aspect and quality of His nature within the unique sound they generate.

The stuff James Horner wrote for the bagpipes in the soundtrack for "Braveheart" was brilliant IMHO.

Yup, that's the local constabulary pipe band. We grow a lot of those around here, and have for as long as I can remember, and probably longer. And they go off and win prizes.
