Rick, may I ask why you're not going to fly home defence campaigns? Just wondering

So the game is $49 and the patch for the game is $45. I'm glad people are so wealthy, but I'm poor... paying for the game twice just to get the latest patch is insane.
Sorry, sure that will offend some people but I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking it. Would have happily scraped together a sensible amount, but this is just greedy. I doubt there will be many new players now the game is essentially nearly $100 to buy (over $120 with all planes)... RoF much?
...aaaand I'm out. Minor quibble. The game is $49 and the expansion is $45. You already have the game and the latest patch. If you ever decide you want new features then you can buy the expansion. Never hurts to wait, as the price may come down at some point. Until then, enjoy the game! Cheers!

I would guess that to be correct. All mods should be removed prior to install not that there is all that many. And then verified as compatible prior to reinstall. And may I add that is a very good reason to only install mods with JSGME because it is a one click add and removal with no concern for where files are at! Very valid point about installing v2.0 over Ankor's DX9 mod. I have used JSGME (phew!), but what about those who haven't? Does that mean a complete re-install of WOFF and the two expansion packs (I believe v2.0 will patch up to date anyway)? I have a feeling there are going to be some people, who require guidance here.

Guys just to say that this is not a patch.
If we still had major fixes to do for 1.26 they would be in a patch 1.27.
It took a year to develop the extra craft, squads (not all are only for the Home Defence front) and the extra theater and remember the theater is seemless with the existing theater - we dont give stuff away for nothing - its called capitalism.
Buy it or dont buy it but dont moan that it should be free/cheaper - it is what it is and to us its great.
In the same vein we do not intend to improve WOFF for free - ever.

I definitely wait for sale on this. Bought game, fokkers and skinpack and really cant now spend another full price tag for expansion before Christmas.
I really hopped that devs will do limited patch for WOFF 1.26 that adds at least new dx9 gfx proxy with shadows and at least campaign leave feature. It doesn't happen and it's devs decision. Mine will be to play current 1.26 with AnKor's 'D3D9 Self Shadowing' mod.
To be clear, not bashing devs, I will simply wait and hope for sale as it happened with fokkers and skinpack.
As I said above I really hoped for minimal patch for 1.26 users without any new content sure.
Just my opinion, now you can all bash me. Meanwhile I will enjoy working game I already have and patiently wait for sale.

Good to see WOFF team view on this and let us customers to know. So all previous improvements in patches slipped in by mistake. No hurry hurry to find your admin delete button...

It's been told already that it's not a patch. Though, I would pay even for the small patches that slipped previously because they were brilliant and some of them added new free content and features. yay, I'm becoming a fanboy...

WM You're always going to get moaning about cost. It's called capitalism! So, if I understand you correctly, you're saying that fixes to problems will be free via patches but that improvements will be pay-per-view? Fair enough. Nice and clear. I'm not sure that this was the case throughout the patch history, since you have clearly included improvements in patches, for which I am grateful, but at least we're clear now. In any case I am looking forward to it and will buy it. I suppose the point raised by myself and others is more about consistency of policy, but it's no biggy.
