That was great work there Tigerwulf You have to love the 'ammo rack' effects in WT.

I've also got quite a few premiums like the Jagdtiger 88cm OK stupid question from a non WoT player. As far as I know the Jagdtiger was only ever produced with the 12.8cm PaK 44 L/55. In what universe is a fantasy, under-gunned (88mm I'm assuming), Jagdtiger referred to as "premium"? If it really is 88cm then I take it all back as even the fabled P. 1000 "Ratte" was only going to have a couple of 28cm naval guns.

Sorry I meant 88mm. In WoT "premium" tanks are ones that can be purchased with cash and you don't have to grind for them in game. The premiums themselves usually represent very esoteric, one off or non-produced tanks. Full list of premiums here: http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Premium_TanksThe premiums are usually somewhat underpowered for their tier, but the point is they make more in game credits per battle which you can use to purchase upgrades for your other tanks, and they are classed as "elite" vehicles which you can use to train your crews from other vehicles which in turn gives them better performance in their regular vehicle. In the case of the Jagdtiger 88 it is very slow and cumbersome, has poor camouflage values, relatively poor penetration and damage from the gun, but it does have very effective frontal armour, a very fast aiming, accurate and fast loading gun. It's a Tier VIII which means whilst your gun may not be able to penetrate the frontal armour on most other heavy tanks of the same tier, it excels at tracking (shooting the tracks off) enemy heavies which then allows the rest of your team to finish them off. In one particularly memorable game I was able to get into a very good position with the JT88 and caught three enemy heavies as they trundled over a bridge in my team's rear area. I was hull down and their shots kept bouncing off my thick upper frontal armour whilst I used the fast firing and accurate 88mm to track them all, which left them stuck out in the open where the rest of my team could basically pound them to destruction. The regular, non-premium Jagdtiger 12.8cm is Tier IX and features are far more powerful, but slower loading and aiming gun. What you have to bear in mind is WoT is not a simulation. The armour penetration mechanics are pretty detailed and could probably qualify as a simulation, but the rest of the game.... not a chance.

Right so not "premium" in terms of "Relating to or denoting a commodity of superior quality" e.g. a premium tank is better than stock tank But "premium" in that you have to pay an extra amount to get it. The premiums themselves usually represent very esoteric, one off or non-produced tanks. From what little I know that seems to apply to most of the vehicle fleet. E25, E75, E100, stuff that didn't get much beyond a sketch on the back of a beer coaster. Makes the Maus look like a full scale production vehicle in comparison. What you have to bear in mind is WoT is not a simulation. Yep well aware of that, hence why it holds very little interest for me, but to each their own.

I wouldn't like to guess at which are prototypes or not for fear of being incorrect and being dragged of the coals for lack of knowledge, so here are some screenshots instead Well hopefully no "coal dragging" but never heard of a Tiger II with a 105mm gun. But while you can straight up say the E25,E75,E100 never existed and maybe one Maus every fired a shot, its not that simple. They seem to "invent" options for vehicles that did exist to morph them into ones that didn't. Just reverting back to the JagdTiger. The vehicle (its not a tank) did exist but only with the 128mm, so put an 88mm in it and you are in fantasy land. Similarly it only ever came with the V-12 Maybach HL 230 engine, giving it 690 hp, but in WoT (and I think WT too) you have access to a whole range of powerpacks because the developers are trying to create variety where none existed. Then in the name of "balance" you somehow mess with the figures so a vehicle like this that happily killed Shermans at 3,000m + plays fair with other vehicles on micro maps of about 1km x 1km. Let alone having German, US, UK, French, Japanese and Soviet tanks all on the same "side". Sorry, I know a bunch of people love WoT and WT for the "fun" / "Blow sh*t up" factor, but I'm not one.

Gibsonm,it's WoT. Or 'Crazy World of Tanks' would be a better description.Same with WT. Nothing makes too much sense in it.
It's big money though and seems to have struck a chord with the game-playing public.
I have SB Pro too but it's rarely installed. I find it hard dedicating extended periods of time to any one game nowadays. A WoT game can last 5-10 mins, and it's easy to pick up (although not to master). Plus I don't mind the grinding,it gives you something to work for.

Tigerwulf, My apologies. I didn't appreciate how far off topic I was dragging this by replying/commenting to subsequent posts.
