Damn...the graphics have gotten amazing. Black Flag is one of my favorite games of all time, but mostly because of the terrific sea battles. I'm wondering of I'd like this as much. Too bad you can't put out to sea in this one, too.

i don't understand your question, are you being sarcastic that consoles are capped at 30 ? cos im playing on pc getting average of 40ss fps, sometimes climbing to 50s or dipping to 30s, though amazingly super crowds runs smooth..

It's alluding to the idiots at Ubisoft justifying the 900p 30 fps lock because it's more "cinematic."

consoles cant even get that performance steady anyway....its cinematic becouse its too much for the hardware

I have it on PS4. I'm not a entertainment tech but the whole "keep it at 30fps because its more cinematic" feels to me like another cop out. The framerates on something like The Last of Us Remastered on PS4 absolutely runs at higher frames and I can absolutely see the difference absolutely.

The fps in Unity dropped noticeably low to me in certain areas buts its not unplayable and it doesn't ruin anything for me. There's a lot going on. A lot of what I've seen does certainly look and feel next gen as far as this new AC game goes but some of it feels just like a newer version of the same game system with some of its quirks remaining. But that's every game.

I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm always seeing something new in the AI population. Sometimes there's moments of "Wow"! The lighting in particular is great when going from outside to inside and visa versa.

The PC version supposedly isn't FPS capped but most people can't get above 40fps and even when they do it's intermittent.
