I was hoping however (in my warped logic) that a member of the dev team would shoot my statement out of the sky and prove me wrong! And therefore we would end up with the new upgrade

Actually I haven't played WOFF for a few months for a variety of personal reasons, and I'm really looking forward to 2.0 re-igniting my very great interest in this excellent sim.

Now, this is OT, but I have been playing BoS for the last few weeks since launch, and I can't honestly see it competing with WOFF for my flight time. Lovely-looking thing but there's not much there to sustain interest for the off-line player IMHO.

So, bring on v2.0, please, and make it snappy - my joystick's itching (which sounds like something that ought to prompt a trip to the doctor...).

Honestly, I forgot about all other sims since WOFF was released. I used to fly RoF online quite a lot with Teamspeak and huge squads, participating in various events like FEOW and such.
But WOFF release shifted my priorities almost instantly. I bought BoS early access a year ago but I still can't find points of attraction no matter how hard I try.
erm... where was I.. ah, yes.. please give us 2.0 otherwise mass hysteria will break loose

I wanna be a gunner on a Gotha and shoot down those pesky BE2c's. Funny for me because I have never flown on the Kraut side so far. Actually I'm a rotten pilot so would be quite happy to leave it to someone else!

It's called the "WOFF Expansion to Version 2.0". The word 'expansion' probably answers your question (but only the Dev's know for sure).
