I was out on ops in the desert somewhere (looked like Afghanistan), and walking along, I hear/feel that violent flash of white light (not unlike what happens when you get flat-out punched in the face), followed by a glimpse of the inside of a cloud of dust as I'm falling on my back.
Before I hit the ground, I'm suddenly in this room - someone's dining room, decorated with antique furnishings, rather cluttered, and looking like something out of a movie. And there's an older gentleman tending to to the china on the other side of the room. He has an English accent, seems to be dressed vaguely like a bulter and kind of reminds me of Michael Caine. Now this isn't like one of those random scene changes you encounter in dreams. I've obliviously been transported to this place as a result of what just happened, and it's part of the same scene.
The Englishman acknowledges my appearance somewhat nonchalantly and asks me if I know where I am. I respond that I have no clue what's going on. He tells me I'm here to wait to find out what's going to happen with me and he asks me if I'd like something to eat while I wait.
I ponder my situation, I realize I've just been blown up and am in limbo, but I get the impression that my next stop is either back to the world, or the black abyss (nothingness). I get a quick flash of doctors and nurses frantically attending to me in an operating room, and in that I get a sense of how mangled I am and I'm left between a rock and hard place, not knowing which outcome to hope for. Then I woke up.

at least your dream is bizarre. most of my dreams are very realistic that sometimes I can't tell if a memory happened in real life or was just a dream.

Did another older gentleman introduce himself and show you some defence prototype technologies the company developed?
Do you find yourself drawn to the Himalayan mountains, and a hankering for discipline based training?

It is an omen of doom, stay in Canada.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Do you take any kind of sleeping aid?
A few years ago I tried taking some of those herbal sleeping pills - Nightol I think - and they made me have all sorts of weird dreams. Not nightmares, but disturbing dreams that weren't at all pleasant. Or any kind of medicine for allergies??

I don't normally remember my dreams, but when I do they're always pretty mundane. I tried Nightol three or four times, and every time it made me have some pretty weird dreams.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
But everything else in your dreams is a penis.
So there, it was just a dream about dicks, and therefore nothing to worry about.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."

My dreams usually suck because I know they're a dream yet I always am bound to behave as if they are reality. Instead of doing whatever I would like, I act like boring old me.
