Has anyone built any of the models? What is your opinion of them? http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Yes, I build Roland http://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=81904http://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=303&t=85730I bought Fokker E.I, Fokker DVII OAW and can't wait to start em! It's beautiful kits with excellent fit and no problem to mate top wing cos clever struct designs. Nothing revolutionary about this kits, just cleverly engeneered molds with attention to WW1 detail. Just sometime tight excellent fit works against you if you apply to much color to glue surface of fuselage ribs. nothing that can be solved with bit of sanding to remove excesive color on ribs contact surfaces. Usualy use thinner to clean that glue surfaces immediately after color is applied. All kits includes basic PE set with at least belts for seat and gun jackets for german machine guns and sometime gunsights and some additional covers. If you like WWI and 1/32 scale you cant go for better choice.

I've been out of the loop for a while, but I do have a WNW SE.5a and Bristol Fighter in the stash. I've only openened the box to check out the kits... but from what I've seen they ooze quality. They look hugely impressive, easily as good as the very best from Tamiya. The instructions especially are just amazing, you'll wish all kit instructions were as good as the ones in WNW kits. Sod it. I'm going to have to go and maybe buy some more now. Can I justify a WNW Gotha?

You are welcome What kit you are going to buy? Haven't decided, too many to chose from but probably the SE5.

Yeah instructions are books on its own. You will love it. SE5 is great choice. Very nice plane. I made one although it was Roden one 1/32. http://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=303&t=76300Good luck on this classy RFC scout and keep us posted with progress. BTW ignore endless debates how RFC PC10 or PC12 color was and just choose to your liking, chocolate or more green one

I bought the Se5, but haven't started it yet. Maybe this winter once I get my Spitfire done.
Wingnut wings kits are amazing. the instruction manual alone is a work of art!
