Do you guys have "Compress Textures to save VRAM" checked or unchecked? Just curious..

Unchecked here. I believe it states how much it expects to eat up at the bottom. My card has 3GB VRAM and it shows it'll only use 1.5GB with it unchecked, so didn't see the need to compress them on my end.

I use to leave it unchecked, but recently checked it while playing around with the settings and saw a nice frame rate boost. So I'm leaving it on now.

Yeah, I've noticed that leaving it checked I get probably 25% or more FPS boost compared with unchecking it. I spent a couple hours this morning trying to figure out why I get such poor FPS with the Carenado B1900D and I'm left a little stumped. If I load up the default C-172 or even the FlyJSim 737, I am getting in the 50 to 65 FPS area, but with the B1900D I'm only getting 8 to 12 and I can't figure it out.

What's more, when I switch back OUT of the B1900D to another airframe, the FPS remains significantly lower (down to 20-25 for the default C-172 after exiting the B1900D). Only cure is to exit the sim completely, then re-enter it to reestablish the higher FPS.

How are you guys doing with the B1900D on FPS?

I dont have the 1900, but I have every other Carenado and Alabeo plane and have never had any performance issues with them. There maybe something different with this aircraft, I dont know. Maybe someone else who owns it can chime in.
