Hi guys,

It's been 10 years since the last time I played Jane's F/A-18 and I've been trying to reinstall it on a windows 8.1 laptop this week. I've managed to install the game and the last TSH, but each time I try to launch it, I get this 0xc0000022 error message. I've read that the game is compatible with Windows 8 and I've tried pretty much everything I've read on dedicated forums.
Has anyone already had this message while trying to play on a Windows 8 PC ?
Any help would be very appreciated !

Thanks,

Finch.

I did a quick Google search on "error" and "0xc0000022" and it looks like it's a permission issue. Here's a video with a general idea of what you might have to do but you'll need to figure out what file needs to have it's permissions modified. The error message might give this information.
