North Korea says it was theirs and was supposed to do that. Another successful launch by True Korea, the Only Korea.

Should've let SpaceX do it.

The rocket is based on a Russian design originally built from the soviet moon rocket, the N-1, that also blew up during launch on all four attempts made during the original development. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-29812139"These are actually modified Russian-built power units that were originally developed for the ill-fated Soviet Moon rocket, the N-1. "They have been refurbished to modern standards, but one blew up in ground testing earlier this year." Guess the new generation continues it's long standing tradition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N1_%28rocket%29 Complex plumbing was needed to feed fuel and oxidizer into the clustered arrangement of rocket engines. This proved to be extremely fragile, and was a major factor in the design's launch failures. Furthermore the N1's Baikonur launch complex could not be reached by heavy barge. To allow transport by rail, all the stages had to be broken down and re-assembled. As a result, the complex and destructive vibrational modes (which ripped apart propellant lines and turbines) as well as exhaust plume fluid dynamic problems (causing vehicle roll, vacuum cavitation, and other problems) were not discovered and worked out before flight.
As a result of its technical difficulties, in turn due to lack of funding for full-up testing, the N1 never successfully completed a test flight. All four unmanned launches out of 12 planned tests ended in failure, each before first-stage separation. The longest flight lasted 107 seconds, just before first-stage separation. Two test launches occurred in 1969, one in 1971 and the final one in 1972. I wonder if the causes of this failure are not the same as before. At least one of the the old models lasted 107 seconds of flight, considerably longer than the new one.

So very Kerbal . It goes to show that there is nothing routine or easy about going into Space.
Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people. Carl Sagan

I'm surprised by the amount of buildings surrounding the launch pad, no?

There were 32 mini-satellites on the launch, according to some sites, though this one http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2014/10/orbitals-antares-loft-fourth-cygnus-iss/lists only 28. Among them was the first Planetary Resources cube-sat, a preliminary test vehicle without telescope, for testing navigation hardware (for future asteroid- finder launches). There were also 26 Planet Labs Flock mini earth imaging satellites. These have a short lived low orbit. How all these things were to get deployed in their various orbits while the main vehicle proceeded on to the ISS, I don't know.

Gee, is that a graphics mod for Kerbal space program? But seriously, that's a real shame. Oh, and telephoto lenses compresses the image but it looked like there were buildings quite close to the ramp, or am I way off on that?

Solid rocket booster blew a seal. Catastrophic failure. Hey, don't go judging what the booster does in its private life! Maybe it had a great relationship with that seal, and they were on a vacation at Seaworld... The Jedi Master

Solid rocket booster blew a seal. Catastrophic failure. Right when the announcer said 180% power she went BOOM. That stuff is dangerous. If I understand correctly, the first stage is a bi-propellant liquid rocket engine. The solid rocket booster was not even pressurized at the time of failure. Also, another one of that liquid rocket engine type suffer a catastrophic failure during a test in May.
