High over the Front
Oh I definitely agree about the interface part of the game, i.e., The observers screen. Does make them more "real" or certainly worth caring about.

Sometimes, modding gives as much satisfaction as playing. I guess that's probably part of the reason why you guys got into modding CFS3.

In my case, I have little interest to play New Vegas, but will mod it to death. So, I may be wrong in my assumption, but now I believe it's become an obsession with OBD to develop the ultimate WW1 simulation, but very little interest to play.... it's all good.... no harm.

Good deal, now you just have to try and keep him alive.
Now every time an EA gets on your tail and starts firing, you will not only be worried about yourself, but also your observer.

Hmmm... I never thought about this mystery=fun thing... next time, I will be a little more cautious with shouting things out in the open like "Hey! I found out that you always win a dogfight, when you simply..."

For me, a Computer Game has always been a bit of a Contest between the Player and the Programmer:
The Programmer does his best to keep the Player from achieving the Goal (wheter it be rescuing his kidnapped Girlfriend from the Claws of the evil Overlord, winning a War, or in this case, simply surviving it...) by throwing a Truckload of his best AI-Minions at the Player, while the Player tries to outsmart them. Learning the Mechanics of the current AI has always been a part of this "Contest" to me.
