It all started with the red bus of Janssen Reisen which performs regular connections between Poland, Belarus, and northern Germany. Viktor Brussilevitch from Belarus decided to open the cage of the tobacco deprived monkey that he just purchased from a shady dealer in a harbor bar in Gdansk. In the ensuing mayhem the driver Søren Olsen, a native from Aabenraa and connoisseur of unfiltered French cigarettes, lost control over the bus and swerved into the oncoming traffic.
A recently stolen semi trailer tractor coming from the other direction counter-swerved into the other lane to avoid the swaying Janssen bus as Olsen tried to get the monkey out of his face, fighting with the burning Gauloise in his lap while trying to keep the bus under control. The driver of the stolen semi however oversteered in his attempt to avoid the collision and toppled the vehicle, sliding towards the red-white striped TCH truck that followed the Janssen bus. In a masterful maneuver TCH employee Jegor Maslovov brought his truck to a halt, the trailer however swinging across the street to block both lanes. Coincidentally heavy rain set in a minute or two before Viktor Brussilevitch's inconsiderate release of the tobacco-addicted monkey, and the heavy traffic, mostly caused by a detour around a highway renovation construction site, still too fast for the changing weather conditions, rushed into the accident site on a slippery road, so that more vehicles piled up.
So, there. THAT's what happened.

So, there. THAT's what happened. I can´t just put my finger on it, but it feels like you must´ve been in exactly the same situation to know that. Say, what´s your smoke, Ssnake?
