The bios startup screen shows all of my drives but when win7 starts up and I look in my windows explorer, 2 of my drives are missing. It seems like two of my SATA ports are causing the problem. If I restart my computer several times, they show up and function as normal. Has anybody had this problem before and if so how can I fix it? I have the most current bios and drivers.

well how many Sata Ports do you have either try a different port or new cables.. if they are showing up in BIOS they should show up in Windows it could be a Windows malfunction Perhaps too??

I would try a different port first and if that does nothing try a different cable..

Its not the cable because I switched them. It also is not the drive(s) because I switched them around. It is looking like the Asmedia Serial ATA are bad.

Try to reinstall the motherboard drivers, maybe something got messed up in the Win7 drivers...

I've had one of my SATA drives start running much slower than my benchmarks when I first bought it, and I reinstalled the drivers and it fixed it up.
