Well yes, if you approach every statement from the devs with the assumption that they consist of whatever negative spin you can put on them, then it probably does.

I'm done with it (trying to inject reason and optimism into this ever churning sea of half empty negativity ..) The sim will speak for itself from here on out and I have no doubt that it will still be going strong 5 years from now. If it isn't I'd be the first to admit I was wrong.. but I am pretty confident.

It's quite sad being a fanboi but still being open to the flaws of the sim. I am like that with regards to DCS. I love it and there was a time when I thought ED could do no wrong. Now I don't touch the sim at all, not until the issues I think need to be addressed are acknowledged and worked on. I can only see the coming darkness, but I will be one of the first to rejoice if I am proven wrong. And I want to be wrong. But so far, I'm not.

Saying the blogs will become rare, doesn't at all suggest that its the end of development. Of course the dev blogs will become rare for awhile, until they find out whether BOS sales warrant working on future maps/theaters. That said, its going to be tough seeing enough sales to continue development in this pitifully small genre, where even a few negative forum spammers can effect sales.
