Let's hope there is not an outbreak because of this.

What is wrong with these healthcare people acting so cavalier about this. They should know better than going out in public when it is possible they are infected. They should show better judgement.

Ebola hits the Big Apple. Maybe they feel that all their education, training and equipment will keep them Ebola free. So they go home and hug their loved ones and give them a big kiss (let's hope he had enough sense not to). Perhaps his fiance has better luck.

The pattern has, despite some fumbling, they are able to contain these ebola outbreaks in the states

I predict they will contain this new York zombie outbreak

If not ah well I bought my first firearm yesterday. Ruger 10/22 lol, and yes we have lots of ammo available in Canada biggrin

Unfortunately using it is only likely to spread more Ebola. Ah yes in Canada from the looks of things it might come in handy for other things

Very good choice for a first firearm. Do a post on range firing.

Vienna, 2nd rock left.
The difference western vs. african handling is that every single person seems to be much more aware of the risks, and the hygiene standards required. Yes some staff screwed up, but compared to Africa where they touch their dead and prepare them for burial as if nothing happened...

If it spreads a bit wider people will hole up at home automatically. It's ironic but in some ways all those zombie and disaster movies do prepare people.

I'd rather forget about Pace picante sauce even though in my younger days i probably used at least several gallons of it. I make my own salsa this days using Hag's Slap'Yo'Mamma Secret Salsa recipe.

but this post is about Ebola ...how did i end up talking about salsa ?

I don't get why they allow the Doctors who go there to work on Ebola patients into the US or even out of there until they wait the 21 day incubation period to confirm they don't have it... Why should they come to the states and sit here for 3 weeks to see if they have it.
