Agreed, despite all its early problems it's a much better game now than it was at release and is well worth $20.

Thanks but no thanks. They lost me at BF3 with their client and other crap/plugins needed to play. Just venting a bit /KC

When console versions of the game have a better multiplayer component than the PC version, this is a step backwards.
The whole Facebook with guns thing kills it for me.

Got it, played it and I admit being disappointed. I don't even find the graphics to be better than BF3s...The game play is disappointing and more like Call of Duty in many respects. The new game modes have not impressed me and I can see myself playing BF3 10 times more than BF4.On the other hand the game has been stable for me with no crashes but very long loading times. The sounds are good though but the conquest maps mostly, frankly suck. If you're playing it on the 360 then the graphics aren't better at all (might even be worse). But, on the XBO (or the PC) they're better. Yeah, the stock maps are disappointing, overall. The stock maps in BF3 are way, way better. But, the Second Strike map pack is worth getting with updated versions of Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, Firestorm and Metro (but Metro with 64 players is a nightmare IMHO, just complete chaos).

No I am playing it on pc. I personally dislike playing on consoles. I purchased the PS4 for my sons and I can watch them play Destiny, War Thunder, Assassin's Creed or Warframe but I am not tempted at all to try playing it.
BF 4 on pc reminds a lot like Black Ops II or some Call of Duty shooter( I am not a purist nor a snob and I have nothing against Cod.Simply not my style of shooter). I don't know if I am being subjective but the gameplay basically an orgy of guys running around and shooting each other every second( such as Operation Locker) not to mention lots of players killing you in a headshot without even aiming even though you shot them first seems rather suspicious....
I am not one to scream hackers .I have rarely met one in BF3 but with BF4, on the other hand, I am not so sure!As for the graphics while they look more detailed they also seem cartoonish in some way reminding me of that map in Black Ops I and II called Nuketown. All in all a very disappointing game. I think I'll invest in premium for BF3 rather than spend any extra money on BF4.

I bought the Premium for BF4 on the PC but wont do it for the XBO.
I also have Premium for BF3 on both PC and the XB 360.
I really think that BF3 is still the better game between the two but I think it's a stretch to equate BF4 with CoD. There is still way more teamwork in BF4, not to mention there are vehicles and much, much larger maps that what is found in CoD.
That said, yeah, 64 players on maps like Metro and Operation Locker is just insane, those maps do tend to feel more like CoD.
