Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has the same touchy behavioural problems with the F15C in DCS World, I have a Saitek x 45 which I know is a little obsolete now but it works fairly well with the A10C.
I can program it virtually to the same config as a Warthog HOTAS.
It takes very little movement to make the F15 wobble or go off course etc, is it my Saitek or is it how the aircraft is meant to be ?
Hopefully Santa will deliver a Warthog this Christmas if I'm a good boy smile

cheers guys

Yes, the F-15C FM seems very sensitive to the smallest controller inputs. Increasing the dead zone isn't the answer, it's more like you need to "numb" the zone with a curve that looks less like an S and more like an H missing two legs.

i did read somewhere today that even with a warthog setup the guy was still having to be very gentle on the controls, the F15 is fun but not as immersive as the A10C, shame that they didn't think to make it the same as , ie clickable pit etc etc
Thanks for posting mate

appreciated

The FC3 aircraft are modeled corresponding with their price. The A-10C cost as much as all the FC3 planes together, so to expect the F-15C to be modeled to that same level for a fraction of the price doesn't make sense.
The idea of a DCS F-15C has been mooted, and the new cockpit allows for it while the new FM would support it, but I don't think it's officially in progress yet.
