Yep the game is MEGA fun as back in the day. The gameplay feels same as on Amiga in a good way.


There are 230 missions in the single player campaign over the course of the war with a story that is presented via journal..... now THAT is how you make a single player game !

The story telling via journal looks well done from what I saw when viewing a longer youtube showing game play.

Well, I bought it. And played 1.5 hours straight til my first pilot's demise with 43 kills.

Arcady, certainly. But the story's actually pretty good, what I saw of it.

I love the bombing missions, can't wait for war late stuff where you hunt submarines.

Bought it, I had almost forgotten what a fun arcade game it is!! Loving it, even if it's so simple to play. Back in the days they knew what to do when graphics couldn´t embellish empty games.

This and Red Baron 1 got me hooked think some dev time will be lost ahem

I've bought it..and it's true to the original...my only gripe is that the Joystick input is crap...been onto the devs, and they're looking into it. I have a Saitek Cyborg 3d for such sims/games..and it works with everything except this

Another game that works pretty well on my laptop.... Now we just need a remake for the other game that works well on my laptop B-17 Flying Fortress

Luckily the joystick doesn't work here either, like fire button is always depressed.

Even worse here, I have to unplug my joystick and rudder since the game controls are unresponsive ....Not that I need a Thrustmaster profile for Wings anyway

My joystick also isn't working. Fire button always depressed plus my default view is looking out the left side of the aircraft instead of straight ahead.

It's a very serious cockup from the devs...they'd better sort it soon!

The only way you can fly this sim is either with your mouse or keyboard, not with a joystick at the moment.

Xbox 360 gamepad works fine for me guys

Yeah same for me and devs seems no interested to fix it and just saying there is a lot of stick around and it works for majority of games. So other thousand of games use some magic to make controls works ok. Just faulty control routines and no dead bands for axes.

Well, it doesn't like the Logitech either. I can kinda control the aircraft, but if I use the hat to try to control my view, 1) that becomes the primary control - I can no longer control the aircraft, and 2) My MG starts firing.

Keyboard and Numpad 8 to force my view to front isn't too bad though. My problem is my AI buddies keep colliding with me.
