You definitely don't get jump in and try and break that one up biggrin

My sister got chased by a decent sized roo when we were camping many years ago. When you are only eight or so a even middle sized big red looks humungous. She thought she had escaped when she hit the water..until the roo decided it didn't mind a swim either biggrin Many adults with canoes and paddles scared the roo off, my sister has had a fear of all things bouncy ever since biggrin

Wow, that's a long fight.
Wonder how long they actually went at it?
And how do those fights end?
Any real damage ever done Ajay, or just that sparing we see here?

Great video, most of us will never have the opportunity to see that, thanks!

Is that a new model El Camino in the foreground? What is that?

It's actually the "waltz of the flowers" from the Nutcracker suite. It and the "dance of the sugar plum fairies" are played more as separate pieces, so people know them better. Waltz of the snowflakes is also from the suite, but it's a much lesser played piece and unless one has set through the full ballet, they've probably never heard it nor would recognize it.

I would like to brag that I knew this from my education in the finer arts, but it more like I spent too much time getting stoned in college and going to see Disney's "Fantasia". Disney didn't use the snowflake piece, but my first wife used to drag me to the ballet. I managed to get through this by also getting stoned.

Cheers

Artillery adds dignity to what would otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Repeatedly, too. I kinda found it a little hard to watch, in an unusually comedic way.

A lot of the time it's a wrestle as well as the boxing. I have never seen any bad damage come out of a roo fight myself aside from a few floppy ears despite living in the 'bush' for enough years. There was a great vid of a couple of roos going at it that did the rounds a while back where one roo gets another in a nice headlock and just slowly pulled him down to the ground and held him for a while.

Found it..

Car is a Holden Commodore Ve ute. Same shape as what we use for the Holden based V8 supercars, in ute form obviously smile The street based v8 is the 6 litre chev.

Apologies to Kaa and Forward Observer! I of all people should have known better, especially with the internet at my fingertips! duh Heh heh, it could have been worse and I could have named a waltz from Swan Lake or Sleeping Beauty. biggrin

Well, it wasn't real 'brutal', but he definitely did want to press the point, he was the dominant male.
And if the loser didn't submit, I could sorta tell, it would have been worse.
When you lose...you lose.

It appears the 'Roo' species doesn't wish to enter the next stage of the struggle.
The winner didn't press the point when he had the loser on the ground.

I like it. Just seem to establish dominance within the species, and only with the 'necessary force'.
Good rule of thumb. wink

Much more class, restraint, than most human struggles I've seen.......
Thanks for that piece of 'Australia' Ajay.
