I've ordered your boost cut-out "tit" from Shapeways. If you make amendments what version do I get sent?

I've also got someone removing their boost cut-out from their real life Hurricane, so we can get measurements and pics. More to follow ....

As I have already said. Thanks for doing this stuff. A fair dinkum Sheila-Bruce. Cheers.

Hello
I have been following your thread for quite a long time and am impressed what you are constructing here so.
I have seen that you have a made ME 109 Throttle housing, but still no thumb switch;-)
I once surveyed my thumb switch (a cast of an original) and recorded, maybe you want to offer in your shop him yes.

With best regards

I measured it again, the groove is below 12mm and then wider. Before the start of the radius there are 13 mm in width, the width at the end of the radius is 16mm. I think it should be a radius of 0.75?
As in the photo is the thumb rocker not to the bottom of the groove.
The groove on the back of the thumb rocker is 8mm deep.
I say again that I only a Resin - cast of a thumb switch have! I think there will be no differences 1mm, but certainly some variation.
I would like a copy of it, because I want to build a ME 109 lever for my HomeCockpit me.
For the cockpit I will still continue to require components from your shop. :-)

I am sending you a few pictures in an email ..

carh451, Can you tell me how wide the "back half" is that's attached to the throttle arm?

Here's what I've done so far:

The screw holes are sized for a 1-3/4", #8-32 socket head cap screw. The screw is probably a bit on the long side.

Sokol1, do you have any pics of that throttle quadrant from the back side? What about better pics & dimensions for the mixture knob?

tnx!

g.

The drawing is for latter war Fw 190 D or TA, the design was simplified relative to early Fw 190 versions.

For the mixture I dont know, the best pictures that I see is these that I link in previous post.

(Looks like a missed an umlaut for the "coarse" label...)

Thanks for the pics Sokol1. From the last photo linked, I'm going to guess the back half of the throttle grip is around 30mm.

The lettering is probably going to look better as a decal as it would take a VERY long time to print that part with a .35mm nozzle.
