This is out of the Hurricane but works the same..Just use a pair of momentary switches instead of the pneumatic buttons.

FC,

Use this OMROM switch, is similar to used in CH sticks, has good "click".

http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/omron-electronics-inc-emc-div/B3F-4155/SW967-ND/368375

Since they have short travel, use a spring under the trigger button to increase the press, what give a better fell - like in Warthog.

Thank you, Sokol. Good suggestion. I have a few salvaged buttons just like that. My problem is that my repro button doesn't lock into SAFE. Not sure what I'm overlooking. Hoping Spitty's diagram will help me sort it.

Cheers, FC

Can you post pictures of you repro button disassembled?
Maybe the lock mecanism was not made in repro.

Think this picture is from original one, see the spring that lock:

My 3d attempt was off a replicated button not an original so was missing the lock mechanism.

Thanks Sokol & Spitty, it

My repro does not have the locking spring. I had never seen that locking mechanism before Sokol. Thanks for posting it. I'll have to improvise something. Thanks for the schematics, Spitty. I think my repro must be based on something very close to your CAD work.

Spitty.

I'm almost done. Big thanks for all those bits & bobs no one else ever does. Cheers shippers.

As far as I know. No one has done a 1:1 BoB era cockpit (they all go for the Spitfire, as its easier)! Tch!

Without you, it wouldn't have been possible.

I managed to blag the seat from Sqn Ldr Skippers Hurricane from the film Battle of Britain (Robert Shaw)

I'm only sat in Robert Shaw's seat! AttackAttackAttackAttack!
