I've always had a soft spot for great sounding harmonies. These are the first two that came to mind,

The 60's- early 80's were really good for harmony. Now people just like solos it seems.

This goes back to the human voice being a musical instrument. Ok, I'll agree.

Youtube no longer works for me (especially this time of day) so I assume the following video will play fine.

Lots of nice harmonies in this song...

Cornerstone took some flak following Pieces of Eight, but I like both styles.

I could have posted any number of Simon and Garfunkel songs from their Greatest Hits.

Oops, wrong song above. Will have to listen on the Shuffle to find it.

The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in
Gives way and suddenly it’s day again
The sun is in the east
Even though the day is done
Two suns in the sunset, hmph
Could be the human race is run

Ah, let's just go with the end of Snowblind from Paradise (live from '96 Return to Paradise)...

I don't like Dallas Green, but I do like his recent collaboration with Pink!

As far as Styx is concerned ... Dennis DeYoung can go jump in a lake. What an idiot.

Man, what a classic record The Grand Illusion was! "Castle Walls" is one of my favorite obscure songs, same with "Rubicon" off Journey Frontiers.

I remember a couple or so years later (1980-81) I was about to start high school, old enough to use my meager allowance to purchase LPs. Holy crap, within about a one year span there was so much new music to choose from...

Rush - Moving Pictures
Styx - Paradise Theater
REO Speedwagon - Hi Infidelity
Journey - Escape
Foreigner - 4
Loverboy - Loverboy

...and I'm sure I'm missing some.

And just a year earlier we had greats like Pink Floyd's double album - The Wall.

Thinking back, it was just incredible how much good stuff was coming out. And I really miss album art.

EDIT: How did I forget Back in Black?
Correction: I didn't start HS until '82.

Some great examples posted so far in this tread!

And yeah I'm a big Styx fan as well.

Ditto on being a Styx fan.

I really love the "Beatles-esque" harmonies of early King's X, too!
Gretchen Goes To Nebraska is one of my favorite albums of all time.

Yes - "Southside of the Sky." When they get to the middle part that kicks off with the piano . . .

There were some spectacular close harmony groups in the '50s.
The Four whatevers - Lads, Preps, Freshmen, Aces, etc. However,
I didn't find anything on youtube I liked from that era (not much
posted, I remember finding much more some years ago). So I just
entered "cool jazz close harmony vocal quartet " in the search,
and this dropped out:

Which led me to these:
