I've always had a soft spot for great sounding harmonies. These are the first two that came to mind,
“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
Oops, wrong song above. Will have to listen on the Shuffle to find it.

Ah, let's just go with the end of Snowblind from Paradise (live from '96 Return to Paradise)...

years ago when playing World of Warcraft I'd turn up Styx - "Castle Walls"
Man, what a classic record The Grand Illusion was! "Castle Walls" is one of my favorite obscure songs, same with "Rubicon" off Journey Frontiers.
I remember a couple or so years later (1980-81) I was about to start high school, old enough to use my meager allowance to purchase LPs. Holy crap, within about a one year span there was so much new music to choose from...
And just a year earlier we had greats like Pink Floyd's double album - The Wall.
Thinking back, it was just incredible how much good stuff was coming out. And I really miss album art.
EDIT: How did I forget Back in Black? Correction: I didn't start HS until '82.

Some great examples posted so far in this tread!
And yeah I'm a big Styx fan as well.

Damn it can't find my Styx cd .... I'm almost positive it was "Grand Illusion". Thank God for youtube. In any case, Listening to "Half Penny Two Penny" also.

There were some spectacular close harmony groups in the '50s. The Four whatevers - Lads, Preps, Freshmen, Aces, etc. However, I didn't find anything on youtube I liked from that era (not much posted, I remember finding much more some years ago). So I just entered "cool jazz close harmony vocal quartet " in the search, and this dropped out:
