Also posted on Combat Ace Forum. After the 12 weeks of chemotherapy aka as "hell on earth" I had a CAT scan and It showed that the outside tumours had shrunk. I also had another cystoscopy and it showed that the tumours inside the bladder were gone. The Dr said that they would return once the effects of the chemotharapy had worn off. So on Thurs morning I am to report to the hospital at 0600 hrs for a seven hr operation to remove my bladder and prostrate. I will be in intensive care for a day or two afterwards, and I will be in hospital for 7 to 10 days after the operation. I'll let you guys know the results when I am able, There is wi-fi in the hospital but it is really slooooow. Wish me luck and I will be in contact in a few days.

Keep focused on the end result......hearing your oncologist say say he/she doesn't want to see you anymore.

Sugar feeds cancer. Starve it.

Give the cancer a funny little name. Kinda hard to be afraid of a Calamari.

Whenever you hear any medical appliance {BP cuff, IV pump, etc} know that it is the cancer screaming in agony....and smile.

Best of luck from a survivor.

I've seen a Report on TV about a kind of "Selective Chemotherapy"... don't exactly remember the Term. They extract some of the infested Tissue, analyse the infesed Cells - and then they select certain Chemicals, that only kill the Cancer-Cells themselves. This Therapy doesn't cause any Stress at all to your Body. It was still in the Research Process, when the Documentary aired - but that's approx. 2 Years ago, so your Doc probably knows of that Treatment, if you ask him... or at least he knows someone, who knows...
Sounds ideal for:
"It's dead" "Yeah, I know. But let's fire some final warning Shots into it!"
