Just wondering... I have the BOSE Sound Link III shown as item 1 on this list, and it's great and all, but I play hard and loud heavy metal music, and really want something similar and clear, but more louder, I play it at max volume and it's loud but not loud enough, anyone got some experience with a better speaker system?

Thx

If it's too loud your too old. wink and I'm almost 50.

ahhh... thx?

The first 2, well under 50 bucks pretty sure there not louder then my $300 BOSE, and the 3rd is speakers... I have speakers and a 1k watt amp in my home entertainment system, I mean one amp box like the BOSE I have but bigger/louder.

I know this isn't what you are looking for, but I'm going to kick it in because I really like it

Had one for a year now and I love it. Sounds good enough, is loud enough, holds a charge, and is very portable. And in your neck of the woods it's around $50.

Tried this one out at the store, over $400 at the time so it was a no go for me, but it had great big sound. Really nice.

No, that is a whole setup.

BlueTooth receiver plugs into the amp which plugs into the speakers. If you already have a nice speaker system / radio you can just buy that little bluetooth receiver and plug it into an input jack on your radio.

The UE Boom meets your criteria, and is a direct competitor to the SoundLink. As a metal fan, I can attest that it is loud. WAY WAY WAY louder than my previous unit a Jabra Jambox. I got mine at Best Buy after walking in to get a Bose Soundlink. This thing also fits in drink holders and is fairly rugged.

These are the ones I have and I'm really satisfied with them. I also get lots of compliments on the sound of the speakers. You can also pair up to 4 sets and completely engulf an area with sound.

From reading reviews the Soundblaster Roar sounds pretty good. I'm thinking of getting this one and I LOVE metal as well so curious what you think.
