Since the latest update, I noticed that all campaigns have been "reset" or reverted.
Now, apart from the very first mission (Fam flight) in Georgian Hammer (with CA), I get either dropped into the cockpit of the wrong flight, or straight to F2 view - sometimes with a message that the "flight got delayed" or something to that effect. "My" flight seems to be AI controlled.
Previously, I noticed that additionally to the "aircraft" folder in the mods folder there also was another folder called "aircrafts". I merged these folders following a suggestion on the web, because all my 3rd party missions/campaigns were gone post patch, and that was the suggested solution.
Is that a problem on my side, or are others also experiencing this?

The lack of correct testing methods is the reason why I have 2 installs , the beta one gets the latest version the normal install gets the version behind

Although I don't think it's a lack of testing but more of testers are task saturated now. Not only are they testing EDs "stuff" (world, aircraft, etc) but also 3rd parties.

hmmmm maybe , but lets have a look at a bug
MI-8 , autopilot (SAS) channels not working
It is a pretty easy to spot one , you just have to quick start a mission (hot) and try to take off , second you do she will start bucking all over the place and you would soon realise something was amiss, you will notice it is off and try to turn it on .. which won't work
time taken to spot it approx 1 earth minute
Ain't got enough testers ? get more
Assign a few people per aircraft per aircraft and have a proper test plan for what to check for

Yep easy to spot, as were the hundreds of others that were fixed, for that particular release. Stuff will always get through the net. Some appear right at the end of a test/release cycle and really catch you out. For example the rather Major bug discussed here, in the latest release, the Random Flight being assigned to the Player. Absolutely unmissable, yet it was introduced right at the finish line and got through. You may not like it, but it happens. EDIT:- I also refer you to this thread - it is worth a read... particularly Ssnakes post http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4010406/PC_Games_so_full_of_bugs_(Why)#Post4010406 Nate

Correct it was easy to spot
BUT you should not be chucking stuff out if you do NOT do some regression testing
Saying it was introduced at the finish line is not good, sticking in some fixes and not doing some basic sanity testing is a bit cavalier

I do know that I selected one of the F-15 single missions and mysteriously found myself in the front office of a Su-25T.

Well, paper-pushers love to screw with people who do the REAL work, so just because you THOUGHT you were getting to fly an F-15 doesn't mean that for "synergy" you won't be flying a T. The Jedi Master
