And available on GoG.com (DRM free) and Steam. I've backed the project on Kickstarter and can't wait to play it later this evening! Can't believe it's been some 25 years since I've played the original.

Wasteland 2 is a 'classic' RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world. You create a group of rangers and set out into the wastes to bring justice and peace. Or create general mayhem.  The original Wasteland basically served as major inspiration for the Fallout series. You travel on world map to various locations, explore them and face various enemies in turn-based combat. Story and atmosphere are a very important part of the game, there's a lot of text to be read. You like Fallout 1+2? Chances are good you'll like Wasteland 2. Here's a review from PC Gamer.

I was actually thinking to buy that one. I have enough Steam dosh, made by selling those collectible cards, to pick that up for free... Anyone can recommend?

Cool checked out the beta and can't wait to play the final, the original and FO1 and FO2 were some of my favorite RPG games.
Also as far as KickStarter goes this was a great deal as I got a digital (steam) copy for being a $15 KS backer.

I got Wasteland 2 as a backer reward for Tides of Numenera, another RPG in the same vein of Torment. Would that be Shadowrun Returns?
