If you suffer mechanical failure and go and land at an airfield then exit the game any pilots over the other side of the lines auto go missing and some even captured.

It's a pain you prob have to wait in the plane taking a guess when your squadron is back over friendly lines.

Roger that... what I sometimes do is land, TURN OFF MY ENGINE, set time compress to 16x and go grab a soda. After 5 minutes or so, you are usually good to quit. Keep in mind that if you forget to turn off your engine(and occasionally even if you do), you will come back to find yourself burnt to a crisp. ...Robert's backup program is awesome! biggrin

The older I get, the more I realize I don't need to be Han, Luke or Leia. I'm just happy to be rebel scum...

Yes sir! If your plane is smoking at all after you land, get out and exit quick. Landed in my Phalz with a damaged engine one time. Cut the engine and while sitting in the cockpit waiting for my flight mates to show up I start noticing the smoke was getting thicker. To late. "Like many a great pilot.............."

So they need to put the CFS3 eject option back in for when you have landed. Press eject jump out plane run for awhile then dive for cover in middle of open field..... thumbsup
