Finally Leatherneck/DCS have released their absolutely fantastic Mig-21 BIS.

Of course we just HAD to launch a server and have a go at it. A bunch of guys with absolutely ZERO knowledge about the Mig, what a blast!

"Did you switch on the SARP?"

"The what? Is it that switch next to the SOD?"

"Uhm... no. I think."

"Guys, I think I just lost my canopy."

"There's something blinking red... is it supposed to do that?"

"I think I just fired...something."

biggrin

Ready for take off!

Formation flying

Good landings

And not so good ones...

And lots of flying and learning in this absolutely wonderful simulated aircraft

Thanks to the guys at Leatherneck Studios, DCS and everyone involved.

cheers

Nice shots! Funny looking Mig-15 though wink

Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people.

Yeah. I didn't think 15bis could carry missiles or have AB. wink

Ha! I thought it was the MiG-15, too. That's why I jumped in here. I actually was under the impression that the MiG-21 was out already.

Lots of fun stuff with this module. I can still remember Einstein and I flying it in MP and just marveling at all the little details. Just flying it in formation was a lot of fun..

Of course, there is a small problem with people dropping nukes on the public servers.. biggrin

Hehe... public servers+nukes= total mayhem.

biggrin

A couple more shots from training:

Not too bad for the 1st time dropping bombs in the Mig

Booom!

A tad too steep. I blame it on my Stuka experiences...

Talking about pinpoint accuracy... winner

And back home!
