ForumsWings: Over Flanders Fields OT: Blueink.com awarded my book a Starred Review and now a very positive Kirkus Review too!
Blueink.com awarded The Garden of Life a Starred Review!
Awarding of Accolades - Starred Reviews:
"Reviewers have the opportunity to award a star to those books they believe are standouts within a given category, titles they feel are of the highest quality and especially worthy of reader attention." - Blueink.com
I believe it will now be submitted to a full Review Board to see if they will also award it a "Best Book" award.
I'd like to just take a moment and thank all the fine folks on the WOFF Forum who encouraged me to follow my dream a few years ago and write a book. In part, thanks to your feedback, my dreams are coming true. You guys rock. Thank you so very, very much!
Hey Hellshade! I remember the sample you showed us over on CA some time ago. Like I told you back then, you have real skills with the pen. Congratulations on publishing your first! I sincerely hope you continue writing. Perhaps you'll return to the fantasy genre next?
Cheers!

Thank you very much Gentlemen. I did a little research and only about 4% of published Blueink reviews get Starred status, so I guess that means they enjoyed it. I feel very fortunate and blessed.
Congratulations, sir! It's good to see someone make a constructive difference in his world. And I like what you say via the excerpt above - is that not the second of the only two commandments that "count?"
Well done!

Which chapter deals with the joys of hammering enemy fighters out of the air?
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.

That just can't be accurately described in writing, so I made a few videos showing that joy instead.
