Is anyone an Amazon eBook seller here? I have a bunch of old pulp railroad magazines I've sent to get scanned. I'm going to edit the magazines so the stories for each year are compiled. I will then offer them on sale at Amazon since the copyright is expired on them This will make it easy to read on a Kindle. If after I publish the book, I find that the OCR made a mistake, can I edit the book and have it updated?

Presently, I'm really too busy to do a entrepreneur style job on the weekends, but I felt this was a way to have residual income.

Can't answer your OCR questions, it really is hit and miss, but I like the idea. What is the time limit, 70 years or something like that?

Yes, 70 years. The accuracy of OCR is near perfect. I just know that I won't be able to check for every spelling error, because each year of magazines is over 1400 pages, which about half are ads. So I'm just going to pull the stories out and put them in a book.

I just didn't know their policy about editing after you have Amazon publish the book.
