SimFreak - That second shot of the F-14 getting blown away is one of the best I've ever seen in ANY sim...great shot!

Seeing as how tomorrow will be the absolute EARLIEST that I can hop into this sim (assuming my install on a brand-spanking-new system goes bug-free), would someone be so kind as to post a pic of an F-15 doing a Viking t/o? Can't wait to do it myself though.

DANG IT!!! Look at that detail.
BTW Tomcat84, is that George W coming in for a landing in that one shot (second pic in the next to last post before mine)? I mean, is that the same plane that the President used to land on the carrier? (Please people, no politics)
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Thanks Tomcat84! That's one faaast looking train!
I like how the VF-111 F-14s have two schemes, lo and high viz based on which modex the jet has. The CAG bird is brighter coloured. Cool. The isn't a nitpick but something I just noticed something about F-14s in sims in general.. the upside down U shaped frame in the front of the windscreen is never U shaped, always boxy. F4, F/A-18, etc etc all do that, it's kinda wierd that the rest of the F-14 is perfect in these games, though the original F-14 with F4 was a little odd IMHO, but the canopy frame is boxy instead of curved. Verry strange wonder why this is. Easily overlooked though.
Only 12 hours till I can get the game, woohoo!

Now who does AR @ 500 feet? Is that an actual mission, or something you cooked up yourself?

Hey..in this shot..what causes the inlets to tilt at different angles..you can see the one in the foreground is tilted down while the plane further out has his straight. How are these controlled and would two airplanes going the same speed have the same position? Very cool if they move in the sim...nice job developers!! BeachAV8R
