Its taken a while - but after playing this I can say that A-10C gives a top class experience of Modern combat simulation with some very immersive missions.

The avionics and weapons employment procedures are pretty special.

Yes you need to spend time learning it and probably need some research into A-10 operations over the past 10 years - but if you can then this is very impressive.

Yeah, it's definitely one of the finest simulated aircraft I've ever flown in some 25 years of flight simming.

yep

I also just recently "got" into the A-10C after having it sit around my HDD (now Steam account) for ages. I used the F-15C "module" to get immersed in DCS World, then bit the bullet to set up my HOTAS (G940, so it was an awkward process) correctly, and got started on the A-10C.

I must say I thought it would be a lot harder, but thanks to some excellent tutorial videos (especially by Bunyap) it took me around 10 evenings to be able to do all the major stuff with it.

Why men throw their lives away attacking an armed Witcher... I'll never know. Something wrong with my face?

If I take a few months off from flying the A-10C (or the Ka-50), I always get back into the cockpit and am simply amazed at the complexity of the avionics and systems modeling in this consumer level simulator. Just incredible.

I can go up and fly for hours in my A-10C, and love every minute of it.
