Been away from Arma for awhile, but I'm thinking about catching up and getting Arma 3. First, would it be better to buy from Bohemia direct, or through Steam?

You're going to have to use Steam anyway so you might as well just shop around and see who's offering the best price.

This is a handy tool to find if a game you want is on sale anywhere.

The Bohemia store is having a 50% off sale this weekend (will still give the regular Steam ver.)

Thinking of getting Arma3 also. Played the heck out of ArmA sometimes with guys here.

Barely touched ArmA2 and OA...which makes me wonder...should i get Arma3?

Depends on the reason why you barely touched ArmA2. Did ArmA 2 simply not do it for you or were you spending most of your time with other games?

Great question....the reason i barely touched it is because online every server seemed to have every @mod except for the ones i had installed lol. So if you didn't have that mod then you couldn't join the server as we all know.

Yeah I can understand the frustration with mods Storm. Sometimes I wonder why it is that gamers can't just simply play the stock version of a game? It's almost like a religion sometimes that a game must be modded!!!!!

Having said that, the mods that we use for SimHQ are very easy to install and once you get it set up it's pretty much easy sailing.
