Here almost everyone is in bed. Almost game time. Can't wait. I still have some things to finish, the first skin commissioned by Smithcorp, some details before I send in an illustration for a secret project... In the meantime I want to suggest one great graphic novel set in the last days of WWII in the eastern front. The Grand Duke http://www.archaia.com/archaia-titles/the-grand-duke/While not 100% adherent to the historic facts, it is based on the people who fought then and there. Plus the artwork is simply breathtaking. Give it a spin, it's also quite cheap.

It's really hard to describe how amazing the feeling of flying in a metallic beast feels.
Now, I've been flying on a computer (and at work :P ) for such a long time I hardly expect to be impressed.
There's an amount of things I realise only now- from subtleties like the motion blur that makes trees and all go faded as the zoom by, the impressive work with reflections, canopy detailing, the tracks in the snow...
But above all, the feeling. It's really hard to describe it. I used to think that the Mustang in DCS was, so far, the best warbird feeling ever...
Well... I've got that feeling beaten. Surely the big graphic engine does its own share (this looks bounds and leaps better than DCS, et's hope for EDGE) but- there's just something impossible to describe.
It probably helps that I've been longing for this sim for a long time... and yet I can't think that alone is giving me Sim-Beer-Goggles.
I'm really happy. I wish I could do more for those who helped.
