Anyone got an external HD connected to their Xbox One? If so what type and how big? I was thinking of going with a 2TB but not sure if I should go powered or a WD passport type.

Thats the article I saw earlier. Just wondering if 7200 rpm will make that big of a difference. I can get a 2TB WD passport for 100 dollars. Not sure if I need 2TB LOL.

should be getting 1TB Units soon, for $100 more,
I said Pfft, Get a USB3 External Enclosure and put a SSD or WD Black Drive in it.
USB3 is Faster than SATA-II.

I found a Seagate Expansion 4TB Desktop External Hard Drive USB 3.0 (STBV4000100) for 130 USD on Amazon. Pretty tempting.....

the thing you have to look out for is what the max size is for the Controller.

Even USB3.0 has a Max Size Limit,
Sorta like how you cant buy a 4TB Drive and plop it into a 5 year old SATAII mainboard without a driver/bios update.

AH gotcha! According to THIS ARTICLE MS used the one I mentioned for testing. So I would assume 4TB would work.
